MIC, whats best about this product is that it has a Boom MIC> this makes a huge difference in calls, especially when there are winds, or noise. the phones own DAC does the filtering, No gimmic ENC, no battery drain, using the phones DAC with MIC is the way. also look at the 3.5mm plug; make sure it has a stripe for the Mic. if It does your going to get the best possible quality outer noise filtering your device can offer. at this point its about your device. Other devices that utilize several Mic, one to filter one to ingest, they do work well JB Labs has a great one.
