0.4MM Bimetal Ceramic Hotend for Centauri Carbon/Centauri Print Head Extruder Kit Hot End with Extra 3PK Hardened Steel Nozzle, 2PK Silicone Cover and 1PK Nozzle Brush

This hot end is a game changer for my Kobra 3. The first one I bought is still on my printer and I’ve had no issues. It heats up very fast. It also has better tolerances than the stock hot end which in turn helps with the bed leveling and z offset. I bought another one as a back up. Definitely recommend this hot end.

It works

Bought this 3 times now. 1 instantly burned up, nasty smell, printer no longer recognized it. Another works, but the black wire is not regular bendable wire for some reason. It’s a rigid and stiff, and snaps back straight every time. It was incredibly difficult to plug-in, and it popped out extremely easily because it had no tab to snap in with. It just easily fell out from just the vibrations of the printer, and it’s flexibility to go straight again. The third one is still running, but kind of on his last leg and keeps getting clogged. There’s no consistency, all three that I bought were different in some way from the other. Whether that be one had a completely different type of wire coming out of it then the other, while another came with the little extruder attachment that the other two didn’t come with.

Easy swap, hardened nozzles are required for glo amd this was perfect

The nozzle was easy to install and worked flawlessly. The nozzle has performed well through multiple extended prints with no troubles experienced.

Inexpensive and easy to change out. Haven't had a problem with it at all
