Nice Christmas Gift
I bought this for my nine year old who has never played lacrosse, but says he wants to. While I cannot judge it against other sticks used for actual competitive playing; as something for he and his friends to use to play around in our yard, it worked great.

great stick
This fiddle stick is exactly what I was looking for. I didn't realize that it said Syracuse on it but it'it's okay. My son plays for a club team who's colors are exactly the same. We got this stick for his little brother to play with. Lived that it came with a ball too. Nicely strung.

My kid did not know it was a mini-stick
Looking back, it does say Mini in the description but I just wanted people to be warned that this is NOT a full size stick but a very small stick most likely made for kids under 7 years old. With that said it is a very solid and useable item and if you are a Syracuse fan it is a nice collegiate fan purchase thing too.

Perfect size for grandson who is just learning the game - it will also be good for practice at home when he joins the team next year.

Terrible mesh
Comes with incredible crappy hard mesh. Had no pocket at all upon arrival. The UNC stick comes with soft mesh and a better pocket. I restrung both but the UNC mini stick is definitely a better buy

Perfect for Beginners
The weight and feel of this product is light, maybe even a bit flimsy. Overall though, it is perfect for a beginner youth who only recreationally plays lacross. Do no buy if you are a serious lacross player though. Not sturdy or wide enough for competetive play.
